Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape, it’s the perfect spot to pause for a cup of tea or a hearty meal during your travels or spend a leisurely day with your dear ones. At Bestbrook Mountain Resort, we strive to make the farm experience welcoming for everyone. The farm is accessed via gravel paths and although they arent the most friendly for wheelchairs, we are more than happy to assist in any way that we can.

At Bestbrook there’s plenty to explore! From animal feeding to horse riding to butter making, there’s something for all ages. Complimentary activities like boomerang throwing ensure everyone can join in. Horse riding incurs an extra fee, but we offer options for all levels.

Bestbrook Mountain Resort provides a variety of accommodation options to accommodate different preferences and budgets, ranging from Self-contained Cabins to Bunkhouse (backpacker style rooms) and powered/unpowered Bush Camping.


Although not explicitly designed for accessibility, Cabin 2 is noted for its relatively easier navigation compared to other cabins, despite not being wheelchair-friendly. The access to Cabin 2 has 1 step compared to the others that have multiple. Please call us directly to enquire further or book this cabin.


Additionally, we are currently in the process of constructing new accessible amenities for our campground. These facilities, due for completion by June 30th, 2024, aim to improve accessibility and enhance the overall experience for all guests at Bestbrook Mountain Resort.

We acknowledge the diverse range of individuals with limited mobility, regardless of age. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, can enjoy their time with us comfortably and safely. We are dedicated to ensuring accessibility for all visitors, including those who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. While accessible amenities are currently under construction, we have installed a ramp to the restaurant to facilitate entry. However, please note that the farm is accessed via gravel paths, which may pose some challenges for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.

For camping, the majority of our camping areas are grassed. We recommend driving to the new accessible amenities, which are designed to accommodate individuals with mobility challenges. These facilities will offer greater convenience and accessibility for all visitors.

Yes, we provide a secure area with shade and water for service animals. Our veranda, located just outside the restaurant, offers ample shade and a water bowl for service animals. This ensures that service animals accompanying our guests have a comfortable and safe environment to rest and hydrate while their owners enjoy their time with us. We are committed to ensuring the well-being of all visitors, including our furry companions, and strive to make their experience as pleasant as possible.
